Founder Story

Idan Tretout

Born and raised in Brooklyn, my passion for basketball led me to Harvard University, where I discovered the transformative power of internships. Interning each summer, I gained invaluable knowledge, mentorship, and job opportunities that shaped my career. The inspiration for Emursfiy struck as I saw my younger brother struggle to find affordable internships to boost his college applications, revealing a stark gap in access for those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Motivated by his challenges and my transformative experiences, I founded Emursfiy to ensure all high school students, regardless of their socioeconomic status, can access quality internships and unlock their potential for a brighter future.
